Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid reviewer of Z-graded movies, mostly in the martial arts or horror genres. Her style and approach are very similar to The Cinema Snob. However she is more inclined to watch silly action films that have a twisted fascination. She began her reviews in the latter half of 2009, and following her rise to fame (under the name of Obscurus Lupa, which was previously used), Allison Pregler became part of Channel Awesome's family. The site was up and running through the beginning of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on her channel. Both cover the Charmed series and are co-hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. You can see her kicking ass in the role of Interpol Ninja Cheetah Lee from Ninja the Mission Force. Brad Jones' film Jesus Bro! also featured her. and was often a guest on his TV show Midnight Screenings typically reviewing terrible kids' films or RiffTrax live-streamed shows, in addition to the occasional adult comedy (including of course Baywatch (2017)). She started reviewing films in the latter half of 2009, and was soon gaining popularity on channels like the Channel Awesome forums before officially being a part of the reviewers of the channel's family. She's been on many Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. The actress was part in the Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker She would also frequently appear on the episodes of The Nostalgia Critic.
